The October 22 Multifamily Peer to Peer Network meeting will feature Christina Bollo, PhD, Assistant Professor, School of Architecture at the University of Illinois, and the program will be titled “Integrating Green and Social in Successful Housing.” Christina teaches design and applied theory courses focused on health and wellbeing in the built environment. Her research investigates the role of housing policy in shaping housing design, and the role of housing design in the health and wellbeing of residents.
This presentation is hosted by The Connecticut Multifamily Housing Peer-to-Peer Network (“P2P Network”), a group of affordable housing stakeholders supported by the Connecticut Green Bank and focused on improving the sustainability and performance of multifamily housing across the state. The purpose of the network – which is made up of multifamily housing owners, developers, energy consultants, financing organizations, utility representatives, architects and engineers – is to share best practices, case studies and other information that can help accelerate the deployment of clean energy strategies in the complex and often cost-constrained multifamily housing marketplace. Videos and materials from previous meetings can be found here.
