The Community Match Fund needs your help! The Sustainable CT Community Match Fund is on a mission to bridge the gap in projects and funding to Connecticut’s economic and resource challenged towns. Join us on Thursday, August 18th from 12-1pm, as we discuss our initiative to focus effort on a group of 17 towns with the greatest opportunity for transformational civic pride and engagement projects.  

Since the Community Match Fund’s launch in 2019, these 17 cities and towns have never hosted or hosted very few projects. We know that Community leaders are launching projects in these towns, but that we haven't reached them effectively. Are you willing to help us bridge this gap? Who do you know that's pushing forward on the most important work in these towns? Are you passionate about an idea for community impact? Pitch us on your projects/ideas, tell a friend they should attend, or tell us about who we should contact. We’re up for exploring every idea.

How does the Community Match Fund work?

Unlike traditional grant programs, Sustainable CT offers a quick, simple application process (starting with a conversation) with no deadlines, no lengthy review period, and minimal reporting requirements. Sustainable CT helps you create your project description on their crowdfunding platform, provides a crowdfunding coach, spreads the word about your project to bring in support from outside of your networks, and will match up to $7,500 in one-to-one matching dollars.
